All beef in our store is locally sourced from our Bord Bia approved farm
Established in 1996, Jim Flavin Butchers has been serving the local community for almost 25 years, operating 7 days a week from our Castletroy premesis.
Jims sister, Carmel, has over 20 years of butchering experience and brings invaluable knowledge to the business. We have a fantastic team of staff (some of whom have been with us for over 10 years) including a number of family members working full and part time.
Ciara, our eldest daughter, has completed her green cert in farming and is currently completing her butchers apprentice course with the Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland (ACBI). Ciara's sisters, Jane and Claire also work part-time in the shop.
All beef sold in our store comes from our Bord Bia approved farm in Grange, Ballyneety and is finished to a very high standard. Our motto is "Our farm to your fork", with our livestock fed from farm grown crops. Over the years we have received numerous accreditations for the quality of our meat and have featured in RTE's "Ear to the Ground" on a number of occasions.
We continually strive to provide our customers with new and enhanced variations on our beef and poultry products, as well as offering a wide range of other produce to enhance your dining experience.
We have a loyal customer base for which we are truly appreciative.
